Demonstration of a nuclear multiphysics workflow using Coreform Cubit, OpenMC, MOOSE, and Cardinal
Summary: Multiphysics analysis is needed to account for interactions between radiation transport and other physics areas. Until now, tedious software dependencies, incompatible data representations, and expert-only workflows have made it extremely difficult to apply multiphysics analysis in the nuclear industry. There is finally an accessible nuclear multiphysics workflow using Coreform Cubit and Cardinal! Learn how to use it in this webinar. View Google Slide presentation shared in the webinar.

Neutronics on exact CAD geometry: Advances in the Coreform Cubit / DAGMC workflow
In this webinar, Dr. Patrick Shriwise reviewed neutronics simulation and discussed current trends in neutronics, including the increased pace of innovation and the difficulty of domain mapping between neutronics codes and other physics domains. He also discusses the advantages of a Direct Accelerated Geometry - Monte Carlo (DAGMC) workflow in contrast with CSG and unstructured/volumetric mesh approaches.

OpenMC neutronics simulations of CAD-based geometry using DAGMC and Coreform Cubit
In this webinar, Dr. Patrick Shriwise demonstrated how to set up and run OpenMC simulations based on CAD using the Direct Accelerated Geometry Monte Carlo (DAGMC) functionality available in Coreform Cubit 2023.11. Dr. Shriwise showed example geometries from both nuclear fission and fusion. Full answers to the Q&A are available here.
