SDK feature on education license

Does Coreform Cubit education license carry SDK feature?
Could the model and mesh generation functions be called in Mathematica notebook?

thanks,

Lixin

Hello @lge, welcome! In the latest versions of Coreform Cubit, the SDK is included in the installation by default. The same export restrictions for the educational license apply whether using the SDK or the user interface.
You can import Cubit into Python, see: 11.2 Importing Cubit into Python
You can also use Cubit from C++, see: 11.3  CubitInterface Namespace Reference

There are also example SDK projects in the /examples folder of the Cubit installation.

Hi @scot, thank you for your quick response!

oh, I see. Cubit SDK or the user interface is not included in the current educational license. Is there an option for us to try Cubit SDK or the user interface features before deciding to buy a license? Could you tell me the price for the Cubit?

If you’re using Coreform Cubit Learn (the free educational license), then you can use the SDK and the user interface freely. The only restriction is on the number of elements you can export from the model.

@scot, oh, my mistake. Great! I’ll try. Thank you very much!!!

Bests,

Lixin
