Program crashes after fresh installation


I was installing the 64-bit trial version (Trelis-15.0.3-Win64.exe) on my PC (ThinkPad W510 - Windows 7 64). The completing-the-Trelis-15.0-setup-window popped up. Trying to start Trelis for the first time results in an immediate crash: “trelis.exe has stopped working A Problem caused the program…”. Restarting my PC does not help. After reinstalling the software the error remains. Any idea why this is happening? any help is very much appreciated.


It appears that Trelis is looking for a license on a USB drive or SD card. We have fixed this issue in the next maintenance release. For now, please remove any USB drives or SD cards when starting Trelis.
