Coreform Cubit Version: CUBIT 15.2 or 16.04 Platform: Ubuntu 18.04.6
Only the graphics window for geometry shows after launching CUBIT After installation, when entered “cubit” or “cubit” in the terminal, it only shows the graphics window for geometry. There are no menu or tools bar, no model tree, no command workspace etc. There is command prompt in the terminal though. Is this normal way of displaying GUI? If yes, what command or option I should use to revert to a GUI showing all the components. If not, what went wrong? Thanks.
Thanks. Please find the full output in the terminal as attached. It is a Sandia version.

Yes. The correct executable for the GUI is “cubit” under the main folder not the “cubit” under /bin. As far as you launched from the manifolder, it works fine.
Ok, thanks for reply. Then my issue is different, the cubit command works for me as you discribed. But my cubit GUI cannot open on my macbook pro. Don’t understand why.
