I have a mesh of 3 merged parts with 3 blocks assigned. I am trying to export it to Abaqus using the export command:
Cubit> export Abaqus “file.inp” overwrite everything include
The executive Abaqus summary shows the number of blocks, elements and nodes as having been exported. However, when I import the part into Abaqus, it does not create the 3 element sets from the block assignments, for assigning material properties, boundary conditions, forces etc…
I have a attached a picture showing the executive summary and command I used to export. Any thoughts? New Cubit user, go easy on me!
