Measure surface area and volume

Hi,

I’m using Trelis 16.5 and was wondering if entity surface area / volume could be calculated in the GUI. Is this a feature in progress? I see there are places for SA and volume in the Properties Page section, but when an entity is selected they just say “calc”. Thank you for your time.

I see the calc in the Properties Page. I requested that the value be displayed, not just calc. If there is some reason for calc, I’ll reply back.

I heard back about calculating the SA and volume:

To display the value, click on ‘calc’ button. The reason we do that rather than just show the numbers is the calculation can take a long time if a large number of entities is selected. We put the ‘calc’ button in to keep the properties page from being too slow.
