Imprinting surface on surface/volume topology error

Hi,

I am trying to imprint the smaller surface on the larger surface which is already merged with the two volumes (see pictures attached). I keep getting the following error “Surface 8 cannot be included because it includes higher order topology”. I have tried merging and imprinting all volumes, imprinting surface on another surface, and imprinting surface on volumes but none of those have worked out.

Thank you for your help,

Which surface is Surface 8? Is Surface 8 the smaller surface?

Is the smaller surface to be imprinted on both volumes?

Which commands are you using? Are you imprinting a surface with another surface from the or using the “imprint all” command?

I tried to reproduce your example. Does this help?

webcut volume 1 with plane xplane offset 0 rotate 25 about z center 0 0 0
