How to import the meshing data in Matlab?

Hi,

I am new here. Could I ask how to import the meshing element information in Matlab? Since I am planning to use these elements’ data to solve the differential equation.

So thanks guys! :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi hrunx,

Did I understand correctly that you want to create a mesh in Trelis and import the mesh into Matlab?

hrunx,

There is an exo2mat translator that will take an exodus file (and optionally results) and create a matlab representation of that mesh and results.

It is available in the seacas code at sourceforge.net/projects/seacas. It requires the matio library (also on source forge), exodus, and netcdf.

Yes, I created the mesh in Trelis and fail to import it in matlab. I am trying the software you mentioned. THX!
