Extracting journal file from .cub or trelis files

Hi,

I am wondering if that’s possible to extract a journal file out of .cub file? A file that is built and saved as .cub.

You can extract a journal file from a .trelis or .cub file if it is in HDF5 format.

Open the file in Trelis. In the Journal Editor, go to File->Import->From Cubit file.

I tried this but it simply does not work. I mean when I click on it, nothing happens (I assumed a box should show up to select the file but it doesn’t).

I guess that does not work because the file is not in the correct format. Is there anyway to change an already made .cub file to the format that journal file can be extracted from?
