ERROR: No entity with ID ** was found

I’m finding a recurrent error appearing for a mesh I’m trying to create, where I am told that a particular ID was not found. This error continuously appeared for one particular surface, then went, then came back but with a different surface ID failing to be found.

To be clear, the entire geometry has been created, the surfaces and volumes have been meshed. I’ve been able to apply side-sets to all surfaces (including to the surface who’s ID cannot be found), but I cannot export the mesh successfully whilst the error is present.

Any ideas?

Are you importing a step or iges file? Our third-party solid modeler, ACIS, has a known problem of inconsistent numbering when importing a step or iges file. The best work-around we have is to import the step/iges file, then save it out as a sat file. From then on, only work off the sat file. This should give you consistent results from one session to another.
