Where can I find these components and where should they be placed?

Welcome @Kim!

These components represent some of the latest functionality we’re adding to Coreform Cubit, but that we’re not yet ready to release. They are not critical for your traditional Cubit workflows, so don’t worry too much about these errors

I agree with @gvernon about libcoreformcae.ccg. However, if you can’t load libcubitcompgui.ccg you are likely not seeing any of the Cubit functionality and just have the framework.

These files are all located in install directory/bin. Make sure that all users have read and execute privileges on those files. and the directories above also have read and execute privilege.

What was your install process?

Correct, I am just getting the framework. Cubit functionality is missing from GUI.

My simple install included:

downloading Coreform-Cubit-2021.3.0-Lin64.tar.gz
double click and extract to my HOME directory
sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get install -y libx11-6
sudo apt-get install -y libxt6 libgl1 libglu1-mesa libgl1-mesa-glx libxcb-icccm4 libxcb-image0 libxcb-keysyms1 libxcb-render-util0 libxkbcommon-x11-0 libxcb-randr0 libxcb-xinerama0
~/Coreform-Cubit-2021.3-Lin64$ ./bin/coreform_cubit
GUI appeared, but without cubit functionality.

@Kim Can you please attach the full strace file here please?

Strace_Output

@Kim The strace indicates that you’re missing libOpenGl.so.0, which is provided by your graphics drivers. You can try updating your drivers to fix this issue. If you don’t have a graphics card installed, you can use apt-get install libopengl0 to get the library.

That worked, Thanks Scot

Great, glad to hear it. Let us know if you have any other problems.

I was also having the same problem. It worked perfectly for me as well. Thanks a lot :+1: :+1:
