Dear all,
I have been trying to generate a hex mesh for the attached elbow part, but
I cannot find the volume decomposition needed to achieve a good quality
mesh. A restriction is that the outlet surface should be meshed using the “hole”
scheme, and preferably the inlet with “circle” (see attached journal file).
Meshing of this geometry using other software is done by using multiple o-grid blocks,
however this is very difficult to be realized by hand in Cubit/Trelis.
Has anybody faced a similar problem before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
