I have a floating license for Cubit, and already had Cubit installed with the educational trial license. I followed the instructions on the Coreform website and set up the RLM server. When I went into Cubit on the computer hosting the server, I was able to locate the license. However, when I attempted to activate the license on a remote computer, it was unable to do so. I have tried specifying the server by both hostname and IP address. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I should try?
This is likely an issue with your local network. Have you confirmed that the computer hosting the license server is reachable from the computer you’re running Cubit on? ping

are useful tools here. You also may need to make sure that port 5053 is open in your firewall on the license server.
I know that the computer is reachable because I am actively remoting into it. Ping confirmed this just now. How do I check if a particular port is open in the firewall?
